TrustedFilter™ Transport Layer Security (4TLS™) FAQs

Does 4HTTPS terminate the HTTPS connection?

Yes, Once your traffic hits the 4HTTPS proxy it’s decrypted and sent across the network boundary plaintext. This also allows for further validation to take place with 4XJS if required.

Can 4HTTPS be used ‘straight through’?

4HTTPS cannot keep the traffic encrypted while traversing the network boundary, however 4HTTPS can be used again on the destination system to secure comms between the destination side of the diode and the destination system via HTTPS.

Does 4HTTPS have a GUI?

No, there is a single configuration file for 4HTTPS in the json format.
