4Secure Multi Channel Transfer (4MCT™)

4MCT™ Is a high throughput, enterprise-level file transfer application designed to be used with the OWL v7 card set. 4MCT™ splits and concatenates files to make use of ATM channelisation to maximise throughput across a 10Gbps diode. 4MCT™ is most advantageous when transferring very large files.

4MCT™ works only on RedHat Linux and should only be used with the high capicity v7 card set.

FAQs & Resources

Does 4MCT support small files?

Yes, 4MCT can transfer small files, however the performance benefits of the high throughput cardset will not be realised unless transferring larger files.

Does 4MCT have a GUI?

No, there is an interactive menu system that can be used to configure the application, however this is text based.

Can 4MCT be used alongside 4SFT or RFTS?

Yes, 4MCT can be used in conjunction with the other file transfer applications.
